Chapter History
The Zeta Tau Alpha DeKalb Metro Alumnae chapter was founded in 1994 to create a space for women to be encouraged, serve the community, make connections, and have fun. Located in the "City in the Forest," the chapter serves as a community for all alumnae women in the metro Atlanta and Atlanta area. With multiple collegiate chapters surrounding the city, the DeKalb Metro chapter is in a unique position that fosters a link between the different stages of sorority life. Many of the DeKalb Metro chapter members continue to serve the Fraternity and hold positions as collegiate chapter Advisors, Province Presidents, and even National Council Members. The chapter also has members actively involved in the National Panhellenic Conference who work to advocate for all sorority women across the globe.
